Who we are

Sol Seekers is the Sydney-based eco-driven project of two friends, Danielle Saez and Joanne Currie.  

With a natural love for Indigenous and Australian art and design, Sol Seekers places a primary focus on native flora and fauna.

Sol Seekers' mats are made with 100% recycled fabric, using thread woven from post-consumer plastic bottles to help curb single-use plastic excess. In addition, the balance of resilience and performance with padding and portability results in a mat that is comfortable, light, windproof, waterproof and anti-UV – so they will stay looking vibrant for many years and good times ahead.

Sol Seekers launched late November 2020, with plans to expand the range already underway. We aim to release evolutions of the mat annually. Stay tuned on our socials for updates!
